Day 1 Arrival in Xian
When your flight arrives, you will find our guide is waiting for you outside the Baggage Claim Area of Xian Airport, holding a welcome sign on which your name is written. Our private transfer will take you to the downtown area to check in the hotel. Then your private trip will begin with a visit to the City Wall, which was initially built as a military defense system over 600 years ago. Nowadays, it is a popular travel destination. Ascending the City Wall, you could appreciate the magnificent ancient constructions, admire the surrounding urban landscape and watch the locals doing exercises or entertaining themselves at its foot.
Xian has long been recognized internationally for its amazing historical sites and cultural relics. To enable these great tourist attractions accessible for more foreign visitors, Xian has become one of the most important and convenient transportation hubs in central and western China after years of development.
Day 2 Xian
Highlight morning excursion will take you to visit the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century, the amazing Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which boasts the title of the World's Eighth Great Wonder. Here, you may see the clay soldiers and horses of distinct facial expressions and positions orderly arranged in battle formations and the famous Bronze Chariots and Horses, as well as many delicate bronze weapons, presenting a real scene of war in ancient China. In the afternoon, continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The 64.5-meter-high (211.6 feet) pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty (about 1,300 years ago) to house the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back form India. Not far from the pagoda, you will then come to one of the best museums in China, Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, to gain further insight into Chinese history and culture through the large collection of historical items.
Day 3 Departure from Xian
In the morning, you will visit the Great Mosque, which merges traditional Chinese construction into the Islamic culture. The famous snack street, Muslim Street, is on the way to the mosque. You will find lots of mouthwatering local snacks and interesting souvenirs. After lunch, your Xian historical tour will end here and our guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
