Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Our guide will meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport holding a board with your name on it, and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day will be on your own. You can either have a rest to recover from the journey or have a stroll around the hotel.

Day 2 Beijing

Tian'anmen Square,The Forbidden City,Temple of Heaven

Wander through Tian'anmen Square, the largest city square in the world,First built during the Ming dynasty in 1420, Tiananmen was the entrance to the Imperial City, within which the Forbidden City was located.The Forbidden City  is a palace complex in central Beijing, China. The former Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynastyto the end of the Qing dynasty (the years 1420 to 1912), it now houses the Palace Museum. The Forbidden City served as the home of emperors and their households as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for almost 500 years.visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors offered sacrifices to the God of Heaven in ancient time. For emperors, offering sacrifices at the Temple of Heaven was the most solemn among all ceremonies, hence making it a holy place.

Day 3 Beijing

The Great Wall,Ming Tomb,Bird Nest(drive by)

In the morning will take you to climb the Great Wall of China at Badaling section,which is the most representative and magnificent section of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. It has been open to the public the longest (since 1957). It is easily accessible and has easy walking conditions.

The siting of the Ming dynasty imperial tombs was carefully chosen according to Feng Shui (geomancy) principles. According to these, bad spirits and evil winds descending from the North must be deflected; therefore, an arc-shaped valley area at the foot of the Jundu Mountains, north of Beijing, was selected. This 40 square kilometer area—enclosed by the mountains in a pristine, quiet valley full of dark earth, tranquil water and other necessities as per Feng Shui—would become the necropolis of the Ming dynasty.

On the way back to hotel,our car will stop for a while at the Bird Nest,you may get off and take a picture for the grand design.


Day 4 Beijing-Shanghai

Today you will take a high speed train to Shanghai.Our private guide will meet you there at the train station and escort you to your hotel for rest.

Day 5 Shanghai

Shanghai Museum,Yuyuan,The Bund

Your first stop of private Shanghai tour is the Shanghai Museum, which is a fantastic art gallery exhibiting bronze, ceramics, paintings, jade and furniture of ancient times. The next destination is the famous Yuyuan Garden, an elegant private garden built 400 years ago.In the afternoon, you will take a short cruise along the Huangpu River to obtain different city views of both banks. After that, we will leave you some free time to walk along the Bund area at a leisurely step and then visit an old street. 

Day 6 Shanghai-Xi’an

Fly to Xi'an this afternoon,you may take more rest in the hotel in the morning.

Day 7 Xi’an

The Terracotta Army,ancient city wall

The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

Visit the 600-year-old ancient city wall. Walking along Xi'an City Wall provides a good view of the city. You can also rent a bike to cycle around the wall.

It is pleasant to have a stroll at the Muslin Quarter and the Bell Tower area at night or enjoy a Tang dynasty dancing and singing show.


Day 8 Xi’an-Guilin

Xi'an Museum,Wild Goose Pagoda

In the morning, you will visit Xian Museum, where you will visit the exhibition hall with more than 130,000 valuable historical and cultural relics, the ancient Jianfu Temple built in the Tang Dynsaty and the elegant and exquisite Small Wild Goose Pagoda with its primitive features. All these make the museum a historic park for local people's leisure activities and tourists' cultural appreciation.

Finally,we will flight to Guilin,your private guide will escort you to your hotel.


Day 9 Gulin-Longsheng-Guilin

Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces

Our guide will take you to visit Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces in Longsheng today. The terraces winding like the belts from the mountain foot to the top, is quite grand with dense plants. We'll also take the chance to have a close visit to the nearby villages of Zhuang Minority People with ethnic clothing. Besides, you can interact with the villagers to experience their customs. Today's lunch is on your own arrangement, and you can enjoy the local dishes as your willingness. Later, we will transfer you back to your hotel in Guilin.

Day 10 Guilin-Yangshuo-Guilin

Li River Cruise

In the morning, meet your guide at the hotel and transfer to embark on a memorable Li River Cruise. Through this 3-hour journey of China's best known natural scenery, you can appreciate unique karst landscapes as well as verdant hills and lovely waters. Then, arrive at Yangshuo at about 13:00 and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. 

Ideas for leisure time in Yangshuo (optional tours): 1. Take a bamboo rafting on the Yulong River. Sitting in a chair on the raft and floating down the Yulong River, you will be impressed by the amazing natural beauty in the countryside. 2.Yangshuo County is dotted with rolling hills, bamboo forests and local villages. Taking an walking tour with your guide and explore this scenic countryside is not a bad choice. 3.Or you could join in a 3-hour Chinese Cuisine Cookery Class. It is a great chance to learn a course of Chinese dish from local people. Your friends and family will be amazed when you make them Chinese dishes at the party. 

Finally,your guide will transfer you back to Guilin hotel.


Day 11 Guilin-Hong Kong

You may take a rest in the hotel this morning. Your flight to Hongkong from Guilin is in the afternoon.

Hong Kong is an international metropolis with easy transportation system, it is quite convenient for you to explore the city by yourself. In this case, we only reserve the hotel accommodation with breakfast for you there. Upon your arrival at Hong Kong airport, please follow the signs to take the Airport Express and get off at Kowloon station by yourself. The train will take you 20 minutes to Kowloon station, where you could connect to the free shuttle bus K3 to the hotel directly.


Day 12 Hong kong

Free time for the day


A full day is free for you to visit Hong Kong on your own. For our luxury series clients who stay at the 5-star InterContinental Grand Stanford, you could walk westward along the hotel's Mody Road and turn to left at Chatham Road South, finally get to the waterfront of the Victoria Harbor. Along the Harbor, there are the Avenue of Star, Space Museum, Museum of Art, Cultural Centre and finally the westmost Star Ferry Terminal. We highly recommend you take the time-honored Star Ferry to Central on Hong Kong Island. Not far from the pier, at the bus terminus on the Exchange Square, you could take bus No. 6, 6A, 6X, 60, and 260 to Stanley on the south of the island. You will be interested in the bustling Stanley Market and having lunch at an elegant restaurant. 


Day 13 Departure from Hong Kong

Today you will head to the airport for your homebound flight by yourself. Please take free bus K3 to Kowloon station, from where you can transfer to the Airport Express directly. Alternatively, you can take a taxi to the airport. Whatever, we suggest you go to the airport at least three hours before your flight departure to avoid any traffic jam. Wish you a nice trip back home!
