Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Welcome to China! You will meet our guide after finishing the customs clearance at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK). After a warm greeting, you will be given a comfortable ride to the hotel. Our guide will help you with the check-in procedure. The rest of the day is free for your own arrangement.

Day 2 Beijing

Tian'anmen Square, the biggest urban city square in the world. From there you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City(UNESCO) to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Day 3 Beijing

The Great Wall,Ming Tomb,Bird Nest(drive by)

In the morning will take you to climb the Great Wall of China at Badaling section,which is the most representative and magnificent section of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. It has been open to the public the longest (since 1957). It is easily accessible and has easy walking conditions.

The siting of the Ming dynasty imperial tombs was carefully chosen according to Feng Shui (geomancy) principles. According to these, bad spirits and evil winds descending from the North must be deflected; therefore, an arc-shaped valley area at the foot of the Jundu Mountains, north of Beijing, was selected. This 40 square kilometer area—enclosed by the mountains in a pristine, quiet valley full of dark earth, tranquil water and other necessities as per Feng Shui—would become the necropolis of the Ming dynasty.

On the way back to hotel,our car will stop for a while at the Bird Nest,you may get off and take a picture for the grand design.


Day 4 Beijing-Lhasa

Today you will be escorted to the airport for your onward flight to Lhasa. Our local guide will meet you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel.

Day 5 Lhasa

The Potala Palace,The Sera Monastery

Your private Xian tour will start with The Potala Palace, which used to be the residence of the Dalai Lama and seat of the Tibetan government, is currently converted into a museum. It is comprised of over 200,000 statues, temples, shrines, and historical Tibetan relics.

The Sera Monastery, one of the three most distinguished monasteries in Lhasa, is famous for its tantric teachings.


Day 6 Lhasa

Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street

This morning, you will have a guided tour to The Jokhang Temple, which commemorates the marriage of Tang princess Wencheng to King Songtsen Gampo, earns the reputaiton as the first Buddhist temple in Tibet.

The Barkhor Street, Lhasa's old market, is full of vendors selling their wares. The smell of Yak butter is wafting in the air and hundreds of pilgrims are moving in a clockwise direction.

The Norbulingkha is the summer palace of the Dalai Lama.


Day 7 Lhasa-Chengdu

Giant Panda Breeding Research Center, Jinli Ancient Street

After breakfast,our guide will escort you to the airport and help you board the flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, our local guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to check in the hotel. After a short break, we will head to Giant Panda Breeding Research Center,which is a massive ecological and zoological park offers a wonderful chance to get face-to-face with China's national treasure. There is also a panda museum that has detailed exhibitions on panda evolution, habits, habitats and conservation efforts.

The Jinli Ancient Street, decorated with tea-houses and boutiques on both sides, used to be one of the busiest commercial streets during the Shu Kingdom. The wooden steles and the brick-walls exhibit the ancient charm of the city.


Day 8 Chengdu-Lijiang

Today you will be escorted to the airport for your onward flight to Lijiang. Our local guide will meet you at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel.

Day 9 Lijiang

Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Murals in Baisha Village, Old Town of Lijiang

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain,which is a famous for a magnificent view of the glacieris. The snow-covered mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds, hence the name.

The Baisha Village is one of the oldest towns in Lijiang as well as one of the earliest communities of the Naxi ethnic group. The 44 pieces of ancient murals there were carved in the early Ming Dynasty.

The Old Town of Lijiang (UNESCO) is one of the best-preserved ancient towns in China and is famous for its distinctive Naxi culture and ancient buildings.


Day 10 Lijiang-Shangri-La

After breakfast, we will head to Shangri-La with a drive taking about 4 to 5 hours. En route, we stop at the First Bend of the Yangtze River, Stone Drum Town and the Tiger Leaping Gorge. With the vertical height of 3,790 meters (12,434 feet), the Tiger Leaping Gorge is considered as one of the deepest gorges in the world. It is also said that the narrowest part of the gorge is only 30 meters (98.4 feet) wide, allowing a tiger to leap from a reef to the other side of the river, hence its name. Late in the afternoon, we get to legendary Shangri-La and check in at the hotel.

Day 11 Shangri-La

Songzanlin Temple

Our first destination today is Songzanlin Temple, the biggest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in Yunnan. Next we visit the tranquil Bitahai Lake located in 35 kilometers east of Shangri-la Old Town. Surrounded by many types of vegetation on each side, it shows an incredible beauty of nature to you. If you're lucky, you will see and hear the locals in their ethnic dress singing folk songs. Usually some vendors are selling the fresh yak milk and yak meat sticks near the sites. We then continue to walk to the Shudu Lake.

Day 12 Shangri-La-Kunming

Today you will be escorted to the airport to catch a flight to Kunming. Upon landing, our local guide will pick you up at the airport and escort you to the hotel.After a short break,we will go to Stone Forest ,which is a typical Karst landscape formed some 270 million years ago. This geological wonder consists of limestone cliffs and peaks that have weathered into various shapes since their formation beneath the sea.

Day 13 Kunming-Shanghai

When your flight arrives in Shanghai, you will find your private guide is expecting you outside the customs of the airport after your baggage reclaiming and customs clearance. We will transfer you to the reserved hotel in downtown area and help you check in. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 14 Shanghai

Yu Garden is an extensive Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple in the northeast of the Old City of Shanghai, China. A centerpiece is the Exquisite Jade Rock, a porous 3.3-m, 5-ton boulder. Rumours about its origin include the story that it was meant for the imperial palace in Beijing, but was salvaged after the boat sank off Shanghai.

The Shanghai Museum is a museum of ancient Chinese art, situated on the People's Square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, China. Rebuilt at its current location in 1996, it is considered one of China's first world-class modern museums.

The Bund or Waitan is a waterfront area in central Shanghai. The area centers on a section of Zhongshan Road (East No.1 Zhongshan Road) within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River in the eastern part of Huangpu District. The area along the river faces the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui in the Pudong District. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Shanghai. Building heights are restricted in the area.
