Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing,Your private guide will accompany you in a comfortable car to the hotel and help you with the check-in procedure.
Day 2 Beijing
In the morning, visit the Tian’an men Square, the world’s largest and renowned public square where many historical events once took place. Head to the Forbidden City, which are the masterpieces of Chinese architecture.
In the afternoon, take a Hutong Tour by old–fashioned pedicab to explore the oldest part of the city for a real sight into the traditional Chinese life style. Then, learn to make dumplings with your family in a local Chinese house and have a taste of your own dumplings!
Day 3 Beijing
This morning we will visit Mutianyu Great Wall, which is a well-preserved section of the Great Wall, with majestic and splendid scenery but less crowded. The natural landscape around is enchanting, which makes your family get closer to nature. The round trip cable car is included, so the challenge of hiking is appropriate.
On the way back to the city, take an outside tour to Olympic Stadium, nicknamed Bird's Nest, and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the Water Cube.
Day 4 Beijing
After breakfast, we will go to the Summer Palace, which is a beautiful imperial garden in Beijing. Strolling inside the garden, our guide will tell you interesting historical stories behind this garden. If the weather is fine, you can row a boat in Kunming Lake with your family. Then, we will head to Beijing Zoo, where you can view the Chinese national treasure, giant pandas. Besides, there are also many other rare animals inhabiting the zoo, where you and your children can explore the natural fun together. After visiting the Lama Temple, we will trace the local people's life in the Hutong alleys, and you can take the old rickshaw shuttling between these alleys. Today's private sightseeing schedule comes to an end now, but you can still continue your journey by your own. Go shopping in the nearby markets and commercial streets, or just rest, swim and enjoy coffee in the hotel.
Day 5 Beijing-Xi’an
Today, our Beijing local guide will see you off. You will leave for Xian by rail, which enables you and your children to experience the safe, fast and comfortable high-speed train. It takes about 5 hours to reach Xian, and our guide will pick you up at the North Railway Station and drive you to your hotel.
Day 6 Xi’an
The visit to the magnificent Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will start your day's trip. In the museum, there are altogether three excavated pits exhibiting amazing warrior figures and Chinese ancient weapons.Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a Buddhist pagoda located in southern Xi'an, Shaanxi province, China. It was built in 652 during the Tang dynasty and originally had five stories. The structure was rebuilt in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian, and its exterior brick facade was renovated during the Ming dynasty. One of the pagoda's many functions was to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang.
Day 7 Xi’an-Guilin
The first landmark visitors will encounter in Xi'an is the ancient city wall, which stretches round the old city. The northern side runs parallel to the railway. Xi'an was originally a walled city, and even today the wall is considered a landmark dividing the city into the inner part and the outer part. The city wall is massive - tall, long and thick. The South Gate and North Gate are the two main entrances to the inner city. The city itself is neatly arranged along the city wall.
In the afternoon,flight to Guilin,your private guide will escort you to your hotel.
Day 8 Guilin-Yangshuo-Guilin
In the morning, meet your guide at the hotel and transfer to embark on a memorable Li River Cruise. Through this 3-hour journey of China's best known natural scenery, you can appreciate unique karst landscapes as well as verdant hills and lovely waters. Then, arrive at Yangshuo at about 13:00 and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Ideas for leisure time in Yangshuo (optional tours): 1. Take a bamboo rafting on the Yulong River. Sitting in a chair on the raft and floating down the Yulong River, you will be impressed by the amazing natural beauty in the countryside. 2.Yangshuo County is dotted with rolling hills, bamboo forests and local villages. Taking an walking tour with your guide and explore this scenic countryside is not a bad choice. 3.Or you could join in a 3-hour Chinese Cuisine Cookery Class. It is a great chance to learn a course of Chinese dish from local people. Your friends and family will be amazed when you make them Chinese dishes at the party.
Finally,your guide will transfer you back to Guilin hotel.
Day 9 Guilin-Shanghai
Your included sightseeing today is to visit the brilliant Reed Flute Cave - the Palace of Natural Arts, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill, the emblem of the city. Then you will take a flight to Shanghai and our private car will take you to the hotel.
Day 10 Shanghai
Yu Garden is an extensive Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple in the northeast of the Old City of Shanghai, China. A centerpiece is the Exquisite Jade Rock, a porous 3.3-m, 5-ton boulder. Rumours about its origin include the story that it was meant for the imperial palace in Beijing, but was salvaged after the boat sank off Shanghai.
The Shanghai Museum is a museum of ancient Chinese art, situated on the People's Square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai, China. Rebuilt at its current location in 1996, it is considered one of China's first world-class modern museums.
The Bund or Waitan is a waterfront area in central Shanghai. The area centers on a section of Zhongshan Road (East No.1 Zhongshan Road) within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River in the eastern part of Huangpu District. The area along the river faces the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui in the Pudong District. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Shanghai. Building heights are restricted in the area.
Day 11 Departure from Shanghai
