Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport holding a board with your name on it, and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day will be on your own. You can either have a rest to recover from the journey or have a stroll around the hotel.
Day 2 Beijing
Tian'anmen Square, the biggest urban city square in the world. From there you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City(UNESCO) to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Day 3 Beijing
This morning we will visit Mutianyu Great Wall, which is a well-preserved section of the Great Wall, with majestic and splendid scenery but less crowded. The natural landscape around is enchanting, which makes your family get closer to nature. The round trip cable car is included, so the challenge of hiking is appropriate.
On the way back to the city, take an outside tour to Olympic Stadium, nicknamed Bird's Nest, and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the Water Cube.
Day 4 Beijing
This morning, our guide will take you to Beijing Zoo, where your kids can get close to the animal world. The giant pandas are the highlights of the park. There are also other rare animals such as golden monkey, Siberian tiger, elk and red-crowned crane. Then proceed to the Summer Palace, a well-preserved imperial garden. Combined with the natural landscape, Longevity Mountain and Kunming Lake, the garden seems to be more delicate and elegant. If the weather is fine, you can row a boat in the lake with your family (optional item with a surcharge).
Then, we will head to China Science and Technology Museum. There are different themed exhibition halls, where you and your kids can conduct experiments, solve problems and explore the unknown world together. There are also amazing cinemas, where your kids can experience the fantastic special effects. You will discover the wonder of science and love it.
Day 5 Beijing-Shanghai
our guide will see you off at the airport for your onward flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, our Shanghai guide will meet you at the exit of the airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 6 Shanghai
Your first stop of private Shanghai tour is the Shanghai Museum, which is a fantastic art gallery exhibiting bronze, ceramics, paintings, jade and furniture of ancient times. The next destination is the famous Yuyuan Garden, an elegant private garden built 400 years ago.In the afternoon, you will take a short cruise along the Huangpu River to obtain different city views of both banks. After that, we will leave you some free time to walk along the Bund area at a leisurely step and then visit an old street.
Day 8 Shanghai-Nanxun-Shanghai
Today, the guide will take you out of the urban area to have a one-day leisure tour at the Nanxun Ancient Town. With a river flowing through, the town is full of elegant mansions of rich merchants in the past times. You will feel like being taken back to the old days while wandering around and immersing yourself in the grace and refinement of the water town.
Day 9 Departure from Shanghai
Our guide will meet you at the lobby on time and help you with the check-out procedure, and then deliver you to the airport according to your flight schedule. Your 9-day deluxe China Golden Triangle tour ends here and we hope you have had a great and memorable time.
